Everything in the universe responds to light and sound.
For thousands of years the power of the human voice to calm, heal and inspire has been recognized by all cultures throughout the world. Instinctively mothers sang lullabies to soothe troubled babies, sages and monks chanted in meditation and people bonded to each other and the rhythm of the earth as they sang. The sound of the human voice is the most healing instrument of all, because it carries the heart energy within it. This is what “Music Therapy” is all about.
I have been pursuing the study of music since the last 35 years. Through my journey I have encountered several situations where people felt the need to be one with themselves, but were unable to do so. After going through the process of commercial music, I realized the power of sound as both a performer and a teacher. The awareness of the healing power of the human voice coupled with my compassion for the wellbeing of humanity inspired me to initiate RESONANCE.
Sound as we all believe is the source of all life. Without the sound that is the essence of all things, nothing can exist.the resonance technique of healing uses with a lot of expertise the boundless power of the human voice, bija mantras, music, colour and visualization to achieve that desired state of wellness.
However for such a therapy to be effective, one must have faith that it is going to be beneficial. I would like to share a recent experience which reconfirmed my faith in the power of sound. A 70 year old lady suffering from sodalities was cured by her absolute belief in the power of sound healing. Any alternate healing technique requires steady will to cure and to be cured not to forget goodwill and compassion. I am sure that in time to come sound therapy will be looked at more seriously on a larger perspective

Yesterday online retailer Play.com became the first UK retailer to offer digital track downloads without Digital Right Management (DRM) copyright, this simply means that they can be played on any MP3 player, and aren’t restricted.
The files are DRM free MP3 format and will work with most MP3 players, including iPods, Macs PCs and Windows Media Player.
PlayDigital tracks will be 65 pence a track for the top 100 tracks, other tracks will be 70 pence – which is cheaper than iTunes 79 pence a track. Albums start from £4.95, and all the 100 top albums will be £1 cheaper than iTunes. So not only are they DRM free they are also cheaper than iTunes, the market leader.
This also is a good deal for mobile music fans, as long as your mobile will play MP3 tracks you can take advantage of PlayDigital. And it is cheaper than your networks offerings: Vodafone currently offer music tracks at 99 pence, T-Mobile’s Mobile Jukebox is £1 a track and 3’s Music Store is £1.29. Vodafone do have a Music Station offer for £1.99 a week which does give unlimited music downloads – but customers need to be aware that all their downloaded tracks will vanish once the subscription is ended.
PlayDigital tracks are all at CD quality or above, are 100% legal and can be re-downloaded from the ‘Your Account’ section should you delete them accidentally.
The first wave of punk aimed at distancing itself from the pretentiousness and posturing of 1970s rock. Punks strove to dismantle the tame acts that were now standing as pre-eminent rock and roll. Rock no longer stood for the left field, for the rebels, for the counter-culture. Stripped down and pure is the way they wanted it, in contrast to the over the top musical effects and emphasis on musical virtuosity that had become staples of rock and roll. In December 1976, the English fanzine Sideburns famously published an article containing an illustration detailing how to play three chords and the instruction – ’Now form a band’. Some leading English punk figures rejected not just their contemporaries but also their predecessors including Elvis, The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. Many in the scene discounted nostalgia, developing nihilist sentiments all set to a background of economic recession, unemployment and disillusionment in late 70s Britain. Many punk bands emulated the bare musical structures of 1960s garage rock, songs tended to be shorter but retained the verse-chorus form and 4/4 time signature. However, with the second wave and the development of hardcore all boundaries of music were tested. Production tended to be minimalist in an attempt to achieve the real and unmanipulated effect of the live performance. However, the second wave of punk, though still containing key elements such as energy and aggression began to expand its musical range with a wider variety of tempos and more complex instrumentation. Many interacted with the reggae and ska subcultures, incorporating their rhythms and production styles.
The Nokia N70 was the first handset that the manufacturers introduced in the now legendary N-series mobile phones. It became an instant hit with the users as it was launched in a neat package of elegant looks and highly impressive features. It has been more than a year since the Nokia N70 was launched and now Nokia has come up with its upgraded version that is expected to tap the music phone segment.
The recently launched Nokia N70 Music comes with shining Black exteriors. The software upgrade and the expandable memory upgrade till 1GB make it a potent device to kill off the competition that Sony Ericsson has launched with the Walkman series! The N70 Music has all the good things that the original N70 brought with it!
The camera still comes with the same powerful 2Megapixels resolution and the secondary camera facilitates video calling courtesy 3G. The video streaming and video capture and all other multimedia features receive good support from the 3G capability of the handset. Facilitating data transfers at the speed of 384 kbps, 3G technology has revolutionised mobile communication and that is the reason why video communication is possible on the go.
But the major feature for the N70 still remains its music playback capability and its impressive media player. With and expandable memory of up to 1GB N70 has the space to carry all the songs that you would like to take away with you on a long journey! The media player supports MP3/AAC/MPEG4 formats and few more as well! The Bluetooth also ensures that files can always be moved around between compatible devices and the browser is there to download few from the web!
The Nokia N70 Music comes with a better software configuration than its predecessor but with the presence of the Symbian Series 60 OS, scope for upgradation and improvement is always there.
If your favorite hobby is playing video games, than we have something in common. We are frustrated. We are frustrated because our favorite video games are too expensive. We are going online and spending hours to find how we can get our games of desire cheaper. We have been trying to get used games, but this is not possible if that game is new. So we have to wait for it, but that tears us apart because we are so impatient and want to start playing as soon as possible.
But the same situation is happening when we want our favorite music, and movies. It is just too expensive to satisfy our needs and passions. Entertainment is just too expensive for us. You have to pay about 30 bucks for new movies and about 60 to 70 bucks for video games for each movie or game you want to buy. So if there are three games that you want you have to pay about 200 bucks. That is a lot of money for three games.
Let’s face it here. It is always the same. We buy our game for that much money and play for one or two weeks, or until we saved the princess at the end, or killed the final enemy and freed the world from him, and then we are done with it, we throw it in the corner and want to buy a new game, and we almost never play it again, or we play it very rarely when we are desperate because we don’t have enough money to buy a new game, so we play that old game again. This is exactly the same with the movies and music that we buy. Therefore, it is actually not really worth it spending so much money to it and to play it for a short time.
But I have good news for you. You have just reached the end searching for cheap video games. All the hours you have been spending for it online have been worthwhile at last because I have the salvation for you. You will no more have to pay for any video games, any movies, or any music you want. This is great because finally you can get everything for FREE. And this is 100% legal and 100% more fun. This is going to be a lot more fun playing games, watching movies, and listening to music because you will be getting it for free. You will not have to be worry about the money spending on all these stuff, and this is great.
Imagine you play any games, watch any movies, and listen to any music you like without driving to the store, paying for the CD/DVD and paying for gas because you drove with your car. So If you want to face the reality, you will save double money, the money on that CD or DVD you buy, and the money on gas. This is great when you realize that gas prices are rising.
